The Magic Motorsport FLEX is a modular ECU programming system from Italian manufacturer Magic Motorsport. It uses a base unit combined with vehicle-specific FLEX adapters (FLEXbox) to support OBD, bench, and direct tricore/flash chip access across a wide range of ECUs.
The FLEX system is particularly strong on VAG Group platforms including SIMOS18, MED17, and the newer MG1. Its modular adapter system allows the same base unit to be used for different ECU families simply by swapping the FLEXbox. It is subscription-based and receives regular protocol updates.
